Number Logic Puzzles to Train Your Brain
When Education and Creativity Collide
With a background in math, science, and education, the makers of Frequency® sought a creative outlet to subdue the puzzling mind. Frequency® was developed organically in 2018 by founder Emily Whapham, who tinkered with puzzles and number logic during school breaks from tutoring math and physics. Inspired by Sudoku, Kakuro, Kenken, and Nonograms (and many failed attempts), Frequency® relies on number sequences, deduction, and mental math to uncover every unique solution. To the Frequency® team, creating puzzles is just as enjoyable as solving them.

How to Play
The goal of Frequency® is to fill in the grid using numbers from 1 to the dimensions of the grid. Numbers on the right and bottom of a grid represent the sum for that row or column, while numbers on the top and left of the grid represent the frequency of the number sequence. The frequency is the maximum number of times any single digit can appear in that row or column.
A Simple Sample:
For this 2×2 puzzle shown, only the numbers 1 and 2 can be used to fill the grid. The rows have sums of 3 and frequencies of 1, so they must be filled using no more than one of any digit. Satisfied by 1 + 2 = 3, each row will contain a 1 and a 2.
The columns have sums 2 and 4 with frequencies of 2. These sums can only be satisfied by the combinations 1 + 1 = 2 and 2 + 2 = 4 respectively, leading to only one possible arrangement of digits within the grid.
